Preparations come to its end in Australia

Seven-man Blue squad led by José Luis Arrieta at the Tour Down Under covers incident-free training week before Sunday's opening criterium Down Under Classic (7.15am CET).

It’s been a calm few days, probably the most pleasant for a rider at his workplace for the entire season, for the seven-man Movistar Team expedition at the 2019 Tour Down Underset to start on Sunday -7.15 am CEST, 4.45pm local- with the fast-paced Down Under Classic criterium, over the very much known circuit course of Bartels Road in Adelaida (1 hour + 1 lap).

Ever since they landed in Australia on Monday evening, the Blues have battled to overcome the jet-lag (a 9h30′ time difference from Spain), and went on a recon of the crucial points of the race (Tour Down Under guide), made of very short stages, with rolling terrain and a crucial stage -next Sunday’s dual ascent of Willunga Hill- visited by the Blues this very Friday.

Lluís Mas and Edu Prades have already enjoyed their chance to wear the summer Endura kit before the start of the first round of the WorldTour on Tuesday, where they will be joined by Rafa Valls, Jasha Sütterlin, Jaime Castrillo, Héctor Carretero and Rubén Fernández.

TDU bib numbers: 131 Carretero, 132 Castrillo, 133 Fernández, 134 Mas, 135 Prades, 136 Sütterlin, 137 Valls.
