Telefónica-backed squad to contest all four Jaén races in Spain, also line up in Italy and France according to its provisional calendar.
Before heading towards their main goals in September, the men’s and women’s programs of the Movistar Team will be lining up at several National Championships held across Europe over the weekend.
Despite the riders gathering at the pre-Tour de France ‘bubble’ not being able to take part, the Telefónica-backed squad won’t miss the Spanish Championships in Jaén, with riders present in all four professional races (all held in morning slots, Friday to Sunday). Seven men will take the start of the road race on the 23rd, including Lluís Mas, Sebastián Mora, Albert Torres and Íñigo Elosegui, who will also face the ITT on Friday 21st.
That same day, all women, but Alba Teruel, who will only compete at the road race (Saturday 22nd), will fight for the national time trial title. The Blues’ provisional calendar, subject to changes, also contains Aude Biannic’s appearance at the French Nationals (both RR and ITT) and Barbara Guarischi at the Italian ITT -no road race is held this weekend-.
