The stage is now set for the Movistar Team and all squads that will start, Saturday, the 103rd edition of the Giro d’Italia. The second Grand Tour of the season will kick off with four stages in Sicily, including a tough mountain-top finish in the Etna (Monday 5th) and an inaugural ITT, with a downhill start and long straights near the end, from Monreale to Palermo (15.1km).

The squad directed by Chente García Acosta and Maximilian Sciandri, featuring Héctor Carretero, Dario Cataldo, Antonio Pedrero, Einer Rubio, Sergio Samitier, Eduardo Sepúlveda, Albert Torres and Davide Villella, has been training together in the north of the island since Wednesday, and attended on Thursday the teams’ presentation held at the majestic Tempio di Segesta.
