First event of the new year

Los equipos masculino y femenino de Abarca Sports entrenan desde mañana sábado y hasta el próximo 20 de enero en tierras andaluzas para comenzar a preparar su 42ª temporada en la elite.

As the holidays come to an end, the Movistar Team is starting its activities prior to the 2021 season kickoff with a twelve-day training camp -through Wednesday 20th January- in the Cabo de Gata, in Almería (southern Spain).

The Telefónica-backed squad, which will be getting together under strict health prevention protocols already taken into account last year, will use this training camp for finetune diverse technical aspects and produce their early-season audiovisual contents.

43 riders complete the longest pro roster ever featured by the Abarca Sports organisation since its first season in 1980, a lineup featuring nine signings between its women’s and men’s programs, including Annemiek van Vleuten, Iván García Cortina or Miguel Ángel López amongst them.
