There’s no live TV for this event; just some highlights on RAI Sport at 2300 CEST.
The Movistar Team’s Italian tournée continues with the 18th edition of the Memorial Marco Pantani, a race which, despite being called by the name of one of the most talented climbers in history, isn’t really mountainous, rather than – as they say in Italy – ‘vallonata’, with smaller climbs before a completely flat circuit in Cesenatico, where ‘Il Pirata’ was born.
To be more precise, the riders will have to tackle the climbs of Va Borsano, Rocca delle Camminate -a usual one whener the pros race in this area- and Monte Cavallo, before 3x Montevecchio, the toughest in the race with 4km at 7.5%. The ‘Muro di Longiano’, with 500 meters at 12% and a short cobbled section, will be the last hurdle with 40km to go.
