Analysis

The Tre Valli Varesine Women’s Race will be the last one-day event for the Movistar Team in 2022, over a demanding course -slight resembling the 2008 Worlds course- which favours a solo rider’s finish or a small group at the end.

It’s, however, a short one, just 89 kilometers between Busto Arsizio and Varese, with an initial, point-to-point section of about fourty kilometers and four decisive laps over the hills of Montello (2 km, 5.2%) and Casbeno (2.5km, 5%). The finish is just over 1km after the latter.
