Bretagne Classic - Plouay
254.8 Kilometers
The race will be broadcast live on the Eurosport App and GCN.
50 small climbs -even if ‘only’ 3,000 meters of elevation gain will be covered in this long 254km classic- are present in the route of the Bretagne Classic, the last one-day WorldTour event in August, where classics specialists, sprinters and aventurers have had equal chance since the race turned to its current route scheme, almost a point-to-point race before the last circuit.
The key to the race, though, could be the two gravel roads (or ‘ribin’, as they’re known in the area) located at 80 and 55km from the end, respectively. After those, only eight hills will remain, including the ascents of Rostervel, Le Lezot and Kerscoulic (-3km) inside the final loop -Ty-Marrec doesn’t feature anymore this year-.
