Nokere Koerse
125.9 Kilometers
There will be just over an hour’s live broadcast on Eurosport 1 and GCN, starting at 12.30 CET.
Almost two weeks after their latest appearance to date in Strade Bianche, the Movistar Team’s women’s program resumes its classics activity with the Nokere Koerse.
Located between WorldTour events, this event, offering equal prize money for women and men, offers a technical, interesting circuit around one of the Belgian ascents which, despite not being particularly hard -just over 400m at 6%-, is one of the best known by race fans as it’s located inside a town home to many races: the Nokereberg.
The Nokere Koerse comprises 126km, starting from Deinze with a local lap and a point-to-point section, with several cobbled sectors, plus a final circuit. That loop includes three climbs of the Nokereberg, plus 2x the cobbles of Herlegemstraat (1,100m), Huisepontweg (1,900m) and Hoevenstraat (300m), as well as the Lange Ast QOM (500m, 4%), also cobbled.
