Just few days before making official – after the Finals of the Movistar Team Challenge were held last week – the first eight members of their ten-rider roster for their opening season in virtual cucycling, the Movistar eTeam has launched its official profiles on Instagram (movistar_eteam) and Twitter (@Movistar_eTeam).

Through these accounts, the esports squad of the Telefónica-backed team will inform on their results at the Zwift Racing League’s Premier Division; announce their Social Rides, collaborations with Movistar Team and PETA-Z (which will be supporting the team in Spain and select the two remaining names), giveaways for team followers, info on their sponsors and much more content.
The Movistar eTeam thus heads into a new dimension as the first pro road cycling team from the UCI WorldTour / Women’s WorldTour to launch their own esports outfit. A step forward to lead our sport into new horizons.
