La Périgord

Two weeks after their last appearance to date at Strade Bianche, the women’s Movistar Team will be resuming its activity with the 2nd edition of La Périgord (Saturday 15th August), a modest UCI 1.2 event that will, for some of the Blues, prelude the National Championships to be held a week later.

Held in the Dordogne department, halfway between Bordeaux and Limoges, the race doesn’t feature any big elevations -other than the Côte des Maisons (31km)- before its final circuit, where the riders will go four times over the Côte de Bauchaux (1.7km, 5.5%). An interesting ascent to split the race, considering that the final climb will be completed only 4km before the finish.
