Analysis

Long mileages -amongst them, the final stage to Halden (Sunday 19th), the longest in the UCI season at multi-day events with 154km-, small hills and beautiful landscapes are the menu for the 5th edition of the Ladies Tour of Norway (Women’s WorldTour), prefaced by the team time trial on Thursday 16th and offering three routes adequate for sprinters or attackers alike.

The toughest finish, over 800m with slopes up to 6%, will be at a circuit in Sarpsborg on stage two (Saturday 18th). Before that, opening the stagerace (Friday 17th), some significant ascents like the Skoro QOM (7%), 40km from the arrival in Mysen. And to wrap things up, a route between Sweden and the race’s home country, with several slopes in the beginning and a pan-flat loop around the finish, back to the Østfold province.
