Analysis

Slight changes have been made in 2022 to the Durango-Durango Emakumeen Saria, once held as a prelude to the Emakumeen Bira and now located between the two WWT events in our home country: the new Itzulia and the already well established Vuelta a Burgos.

The route, 113km in length starting and finishing at Durango’s Ezkurdi square, now combines the gentle ascents of Miota -4x, one less than in 2021- and the tough duo of final ascents to Goiuria (5.5km at 5%), including a last approach through the Garai gana (slopes up to 18%), with the new QOM of Areitio, before the last two climbs, over 1.1km at 6% in three short steps.
