Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne
193.1 Kilometers
Eurosport and GCN will broadcast a big portion of the race starting at 2.30pm CET.
The first duo of Belgian classics in 2023 comes to its end with the 75th edition of Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne, an event traditionally more suited to the sprinters because most of its cobblestones and hills are located quite far away from a flat finishing circuit, near Kortrijk.
The four most significant climbs –Mont Saint Laurent (116km), Kruisberg (125km), Knokteberg (134km) and Kluisberg (141km)– are thus placed out of the final 50 kilometers. Despite any likely winds and a cobbled sector with 33 to go, the rest of the approach is good for a ‘volata’.
