Analysis

A beautiful route, with challenges at every route, to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Vuelta CV. Very little margin is left to those pure sprinters at a race which, as seen in 2023, can see surprises until the very last day.

On Castellón soil, with the traditional climb of the Desierto de las Palmas (Wednesday 31st), starts an event which will have the fast men and the adventurers face to face at the Pla de Corrals (Cat-3) and the stage two finish in Tavernes (Thursday 1st).

Following a last clear chance for the sprinters in Orihuela (Friday 2nd), crosswinds permitting, the decisive weekend will come, with five rated ascents towards Vall d’Ebo (Saturday 3rd) and the difficult Alto Frontera before the last finish in Valencia (Sunday 4th).
