Analysis

Without Liane Lippert, who is currently involved in an altitude training program prior to her long-awaited debut in few weeks’ time, while actually featuring Floortje Mackaij, who went together with her friend and team-mate on the attack several times in 2023, the Movistar Team covers its last competitive hurdle before the Ronde van Vlaanderen at the Waregem race.

With nine climbs and seven cobbled sectors, less demanding than ‘De Ronde’ yet equally as interesting, the main features of the race will be near the end. The last 50km include the Knokteberg and Ladeuze + two climbs to Nokere -the first of those over the famous cobbles- and another four ‘kasseien’, the last of which, Herlegemstraat, will be 6km away from the finish.
