Spaniard set to lead Movistar Team in Emirati race's 4th editionthis week (Wednesday 21st - Sunday 25th); revamped route includes stage four ITT (12km), moves decisive Jebel Hafeet mountain-top finish to last day.

With no room for respite, and after finishing the Vuelta a Andalucía and the Volta ao Algarve on Sunday, the Movistar Team embarks itself on a trip to the United Arab Emirates to take part, Wednesday 21st to Sunday 25th February, in the fourth edition of the Abu Dhabi Tour, the Eusebio Unzué-managed squad’s second UCI WorldTour event of the 2018 season.

Chente García Acosta will direct a seven-man lineup led by Alejandro Valverdealready in Abu Dhabi since last weekend– and completed by Daniele Bennati, José Joaquín Rojas, Antonio Pedrero, Rafa Valls, Jasha Sütterlin and Víctor de la Parte. The race will spend its opening three days on flat, wind-exposed roads and under hot temperatures, before a 12km ITT in Al Maryah (Saturday 24th) and the traditional Jebel Hafeet mountain-top finish -moved to the final stage on Sunday 25th- define the GC outcome.
