Analysis

Belgium remains the women’s Movistar Team’s reference in the month of March, with the Blues again active on Flemish soil between WorldTour events for the 4th edition of Nokere Koerse. The 129km event will again be governed by the ascents to the Nokereberg, the famous, cobbled climb in the finishing village.

Following an initial, point-to-point section, with five cobbled sectors and the climbs of Lange Ast, Tiegemberg, Holstraat and Petegemberg, a final double loop starts, with 3x the Nokereberg and 2x the Lange Ast, as well as 7x cobbles each lap. Good positioning and technical skills are, as usual in Belgium, key for a good result.
