Giro del Veneto

For the second time in recent years -it also happened in 2021, when Alejandro Valverde and the Blues made a last-minute entry into the Coppa Agostoni-, the Movistar Team extends its Italian autumn tournée beyond Il Lombardia and will end its 2024 European season on the road with the two ProSeries classics of Veneto, starting with a historic race which, after returning to the calendar three years ago, has almost 90 editions in its palmarès.

Starting from Verona and finishing in Vicenza, the 165km course includes the early climbs of Colognola ai Colli and the Monte del Rocciolo -2.5km at 5%-, plus a hilly final circuit over the ascents of Villa Margherita and Via Pilla (8%). The hardest slopes into that loop will be at the finishing Madonna di Monte Berico, climbed six times with a final 500 meters at 9% towards the Viale Dieci Giugno.
