Omloop van het Hageland

On cobbles and hills, though in a mixture different to the day prior’s Omloop Nieuwsblad, the Omloop van het Hageland will be the Movistar Team’s second chapter of the Belgian spring, over a series of two circuits around Aarschot and Tielt-Winge.

There’s a longer loop, 28.5km with two laps, featuring five ascents that include Houwaartseberg (600m at 9.4%), Houwaartseberg (700m, 9.4%) and Tieltsestraat (600m, 9.8%), after which a short cobbled sector is also covered.

The short one, 15.4km each lap, only features two climbs, the most important of which combines Kriebekestraat (840m, 7.6%) and Roeselberg (320m, 10.3%). The last climb, even if gentler, is crested just 3km from the end.
