Analysis
A more suited course for the fastest riders, yet one where the classics contenders still have the upper hand. That is how you could define the Coppa Bernocchi, a race bringing the peloton back for good to northern Italy for the final week of autumn classics, to be covered around Legnano near Milan.
The most important part of the parcours its the main circuit, seven laps, with two short, steep climbs: San Pancrazio (400m, 10%) and Morazzone (1.3km, 8%). The last ascent will be crested with 31km to go, with a slight descent all the way to the line after that.
