Route

Herve - Mur de Huy (194.2km)
19 April

Analysis

Enric Mas will be the Movistar Team’s main feature and only change to their Ardennes lineup as they tackle the climb to the Mur de Huy, the inevitable protagonist of the second race in the ‘hills trio’ in April.

Of course, and other than the three ascents of the Chemin des Chapelles (1.3km at 9.6%), crested respectively with 75 and 37km to go, there’s another two climbs inside the final circuit, well known by everyone who has ridden this event before. Those are the Côte d’Ereffe (2.1km at 5%) and, most importantly, Cherave, a long, tough straight –1.3km at 8.1%- completed for the last time with less than 6km to go.
