Vuelta a Burgos
490 Kilometers 4 Stages
Fans will be able to watch the last 90′ of racing every day on Eurosport.
There will be 10-6-4″ at stage finishes and 3-2-1″ at the intermediate sprints.
The removal of the Lagunas de Neila -at least its summit anyway, not strictly its main road up- is the prime feature of the 2024 Vuelta a Burgos, whose ninth edition will combine sprinter-suited finishes with those for puncheurs or pure climbers.
Should the wind not avoid it, there will be two bunch sprint finishes: the opening stage’s at the province’s capital (Thursday 16th) and day three towards Melgar de Fernamental (Saturday 18th). Friday 17th will see the peloton finish up the Alto de Rosales, in Medina de Pomar, almost 4km at 5%, while on Sunday 19th, they will tackle, 15km before the line, the Alto de Rozavientos (Cat-1), including 2km at 11%.
