Flèche Wallonne
198.6 Kilometers
The race will be broadcast live on Eurosport. The world feed starts at 12.45pm CEST.
With the main change to the 2024 course, one could even argue that the Flèche Wallonne has become a circuit course. Four climbs will now be tackled of the Mur de Huy, the famous Chemin des Chapelles, with its 1.3km at 9.6% and a maximum 20% making for the most famous uphill sprint in the UCI calendar.
The race presents quite some differences from previous years. The Côte de Cherave is scrapped, the approach and Huy climbs made harder in the past by it, and the circuit becomes more open. There’s ‘only’ one other climb: 4x the Côte d’Ereffe, 2.1km at 5% with another slope after its top -13km to go- to descend to the city and tackle the decisive hill of the race.
